Striving to be unique in the pinball world, Stern released Orbitor 1, a game that was so distinct that players still seek it out today. Less than 1,000 of these were made, so take every chance you can find to play one, or own one!

The playfield was built as a large sheet of plexiglass, which covered a distinct 'moonscape' mounted beneath it. Unlike most machines, the surface was not flat, so the ball trajectory was difficult to track. Players have a whole new challenge they've never before experienced when stepping up to this table.

To make things even more wild, Stern designed two "spinning bumpers" in the center of the playfield, constantly kicking and spinning the ball in wild directions at variable speeds.
